SUGARSWEET'S HISTORY

Sugarsweet had a bumpy start. I got very interested in graphic design once I first got a MySpace. I noticed a lot of layout sites, and thought it was SO cool. So I made one of my own. The only problem was I didn't know ANYTHING about HTML or graphics. It was pretty pathetic. And it was originally a contest site called cool kidd contests. GROSS! The whole page was pretty gross for a while until people started helping me out and I got the free trial of photoshop. The photoshop signs were even ugly. Soon after that, my site was known as Dorkface. I got paint shop pro XI for Christmas, and I instantly fell in love. My site got bigger and better.

After I found out there was another site with my name I changed to Shimmer, which after became Secretlove, to Zoom, to Fusion, to my current name, Sugarsweet. It took me a while to find a name that really matched who I was, was original, and had that special ring to it. And thats how the site became Sugarsweet and I don't plan on changing it any time soon. Maybe even never. As the year went on I made a lot of friends, and learned so much more about graphic design and it soon became my passion.

Through all that, my MySpace site was deleted probably twice. I was about to give up once I lost my hard drive and my layout site all at the same time. But I kept on moving and eventually got everything back to its original state and it was well worth it because I don't know what I'd be without graphic design in my life! So still, my site was getting bigger and bigger and my friend Karla from Sourpopave told me she got a website. So I started considering it. I realized I was so sick of the MySpace drama and was worried if I was deleted again I'd lose all my content. So I got a domain. And still I'm learning new things everyday.

I'm very happy with my decision to get a domain, and I'm considering going to a graphic design school in the near future and living out my dream being a web designer and doing what I love. Thank you to everyone who has helped me along the way, truly if it wasn't for you my site would not be what it is today.
