GRAND OPENING!

No, your eyes are not decieving you, Sugarsweet-Stuff.com is, in fact, back!

I spent a lot of time working on the new layout. Sure, it looks simple, but it’s not! I tried something new with the main navigation, but it seems I didn’t do it right! Notice when you hover over a link, behind it there is a white cloud. When you hover off of it, that cloud is supposed to go away. I was going to fix it, but it would’ve took too long. I decided I’d just have a half good navigation just so I could open the site earlier
Also, there is another detail of this new layout that I’m not too fond of. As you may have already noticed, the side navigation is a little hard to read. The pink on blue doesn’t work to well. And while I’m all for having my site looking as good as possible, I only found that to be a minor issue and fixed it the best I could without wasting too much time. Overall, I really like the colors and the simplicity of this new layout!

So while the site was temporarily down, I fixed a few things, and added a lot of new things. The good news: I’m not done yet! Don’t think this is all your going to be seeing for a while. While you’re not paying attention, I’ll be constantly adding new things…so you’ll have something to look forward to everytime you come back ;)
No new layouts were added, you probably already know I’m not a layout person. But I promise you, I WILL be making some soon! Picture captions were added, so go check those out! And maybe I should just be Sugarsweet-Stuff.com GRAPHICS, because boy have I got loads of those now. Love, and quote graphics have been very updated. And as a bonus, I’ve added Emo, Environmental, and Decorative graphics! See all graphics here. New about me signs were added, as well as one glitter sign. Fonts: haven’t added any new ones in a long time…until now! Go check ‘em out
Color schemes were fixed to higher quality and I added a few new ones as well. Last but not least, I added a few new backgrounds! But don’t get bummed out, because like I said, I’ll still be added new stuff frequently.

More good news! I finally got a new blogging system! I used to have cutenews, but it got infected with a virus and I kept receiving spam comments…not cool. The spam comments forced me to get rid of cutenews, leaving me with no blogging system!
No blogging system=no cool posts from me, and me unable to receive comments from you
Now, I have FanUpdate and I must say I am very pleased with it! It was very simple to install, and it also has a CAPTCHA code to enter when entering a comment, that way no spam comments are allowed through the system. So now that I have commenting again, feel free to leave me one! You can leave a compliment, just say hey, or even tell me what you’d like to see or how I can make my site better. This is your chance to tell me what YOU want! Remember, if you wan’t me to respond, make sure you leave you’re email or URL with the comment

On a more personal note, lifes good! It seems like I haven’t talked to many of you in centuries. Well the good news is I’m still alive! Hahah. Whats new with me?…Hmm…I died my hair back blonde in early January and I’m really happy I did, even though I liked the brunette too. That same day, I got my cartilage pierced. Nope, it didn’t hurt! And I really like it. Tuesday I’m getting Verizon’s Blackberry Curve 8530 in smokey purple, as an upgrade from my discontinued, piece of crap Blackberry Pearl. This upcoming week is FCAT testing
Friday we’re getting an RV, camper, travel trailer…whatever you wanna call it. I’m so excited! And for the best news…I’m getting my braces off in 15 days!
I’m sooo excited, its beyond words. I’ve had mine since July 23^rd, 2008…and get them off March 22^nd. A little over a year and a half, not too bad! Look out world, Megan’s soon to be no longer a brace face
